In 1978, the Palm Beach County Council of the Arts was made by Alexander W. Dreyfoos, Jr.. The chamber's objectives centered around the advancement of nearby expressions, and tried to make a noteworthy performing expressions focus following the accomplishment of the Palm Beach Playhouse.
